Tiger Sugar 老虎堂 is now OPEN in BURNABY! Tiger Sugar is a popular Taiwanese Boba Bubble Tea chain known for their unique take on bubble tea with Mousse and Brown Sugar. There are THREE Tiger Sugars in the Lower Mainland: Richmond, New Westminster, and Burnaby! The new location is on Kingsway across from Metrotown!
Tiger Sugar Prices $5.50 – $7
Tiger Sugar has two kinds of tapioca balls Boba (large) and Pearls (small). They have milk, tea (Black, Green, Oolong), or Coffee jelly, with Cream or Cheese Mousse. You can also adjust ICE and SUGAR levels. Tiger Sugar is not Fruit Tea Boba.
Brown Sugar Boba and Pearl Milk with Cream Mousse $6.50
Boba Milk! The drink has a nice smooth consistency. The Boba and Pearls were fresh. The Brown Sugar was not too sweet. There are ice cubes in this drink but you can customize how much ice you want.
The Cream Mousse and Brown Sugar definitely makes for a unique looking drink and delicious beverage! Tiger Sugar makes other bubble tea shops seem very boring!

$ FAIR PRICE. AFFORDABLE. Similar to other bubble tea shops.
QUALITY:
GOOD! Mousse has delicious smooth texture. Boba and pearls were fresh and warm, with good soft chewy consistency.
SERVICE:
GOOD! Good menu explanations and very helpful. Good fast preparation. NO DINE IN.
VERDICT:
Overall, VERY SATISFIED. There are many bubble tea shops in Vancouver and Tiger Sugar stands out as one of the BEST for the unique Brown Sugar and Mousse style and quality of boba pearls. Definitely worth trying Tiger Sugar repeat visits! Tiger Sugar can be addicting!
