Gutom Travels to Gothenburg the second largest city in Sweden! (Video recorded in January 2020) Universeum is a science center in central Gothenburg that opened in 2001 and is famous for the large indoor rainforest! A nice educational attraction for the whole family.
Universeum Buffet 110SEK (Swedish Kroner)
There is a simple buffet at Universeum. On this day it was a Mexican theme buffet with make-your-own tacos. It came with soft tortilla, meat and cheese, veggies and tortilla chips. Nice for the kids!
Universeum Entrance Fee 225SEK (Swedish Kroner)
One day admission to Universeaum is 225SEK Adult ($34 Canadian) or 175SEK Child ($27 Canadian). Admission includes all exhibits, labs, program activities. Scan your ticket to enter.
Universeum has many exhibits or ZONES to experience. Space Zone, Ocean Zone, Chemistry Lab, Rainforest and more. Ocean and Rainforest zones have animals! You’ll find exotic fish, and birds, and even SLOTHS!

QUALITY:
OK! Buffet was OK! Not bad but don’t expect spectacular. Nice to have a AYCE option in the science center.
SERVICE:
OK! Friendly, helpful. Lots of space to accommodate strollers, and lots of bathrooms.
VERDICT:
Overall, SATISFIED. Universeum is a large exhibit with lots to see. There is enough English language on signage to enjoy this attraction. The Rainforest Zone is worth the admission.
