LIKED: Sashimi! Nice variety.
DISLIKED: Some cooked items were not hot, or were dry.
HAPPY THAT RICHMOND SUSHI HAS REOPENED!
Richmond Ninkazu aka Richmond Sushi aka Ninkazu Japanese Restaurant is one of the oldest AYCE sushi restaurants in the Lower Mainland. This restaurant is similar to Tomokazu and Kingsway Sushi. They reopened for Dine-In in June, and are only open for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. No weekday hours!
This restaurant used to have Japanese style seating. Richmond Sushi did a big renovation and now has a standard table layout perfect for Physical Distancing.

LIKED
Sashimi, tataki, torched sushi, and cones definitely the highlight.
DISLIKED
The cooked dishes weren’t hot. Chicken Karaage didn’t taste right. Drumsticks were dry. Beef ribs were too fatty.
Some of the rice used in Nigiri and rolls were hard from refrigeration.
First customer in the door why is the cooked food cold?
SERVICE:
OK! Friendly. Slow clearing plates. Understaffed because of covid.
VERDICT:
Overall, SLIGHTLY SATISFIED. Richmond Ninkazu is a popular destination for budget sushi AYCE fans. There lots on the menu and the prices are fair. Come for the sashimi.
