Bombay Kitchen and Bar is a Indian restaurant on Commercial Drive and is one of the few Indian restaurants in the Lower Mainland that have ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET. They are open during the pandemic and have a regular menu and a Lunch Buffet.
Bombay Kitchen and Bar has a patio and a nice interior perfect for small groups and big parties. The buffet is served banquet style with lots of hand sanitizer available. No self-serve buffet here. They will serve you at the buffet.
Some items you wiill find on the buffet line are Beef Curry, Chicken Jalfrezi, Daal Bombay, Eggplant Bhartha, Curry Pakora, Rice, Veggie Pakora, and a small chutney selection.

Other Indian buffets in town leave the naan at the buffet.
Chai Tea is extra and not included with the buffet.
It comes in a nice tea pot so you can refill the tea yourself! Good for 3 – 3 servings.
PRICE:
$$ AFFORDABLE. Expect to pay around $15-$20 per person for Lunch Buffet after tax and tip, and any extras.
QUALITY:
OK! Nice flavours, and textures of various dishes. Good chunks of chicken, beef. Fresh naan, and nice chai tea.
Noticeably salty on some buffet dishes. After a two trips to the buffet the saltiness becomes very strong.
SERVICE:
OK! Friendly and helpful. Answers questions and good explanations of their menu. Generous portion of scoops from the buffet.
VERDICT:
Overall, SATISFIED. Bombay Kitchen and Bar is a OK Indian buffet available at Lunch only. Missing for their buffet is tandoori chicken but the other buffet dishes are fine for the price. Nice atmosphere.
