Duffin’s Donuts is a local favorite in South Vancouver since 1987! Duffin’s has a unique menu with coffee, donuts, Mexican sandwiches, burgers and fried chicken! Unfortunately, they no longer have Chinese Food but there is still a lot to eat!
Duffin’s selection of donuts is impressive and baked on site!
Duffin’s has multi-cultural cuisine. Western, Asian and Latin community are represented on the menu. They even have spring rolls, and steamed rice to go with fried chicken and donuts!
Torta Sandwich Chicken and Avacado $5.59
Torta is a Mexican sandwich served on bread roll with meat and veg. Good compact sandwich perfect street food.
10 Piece Fried Chicken $19.99
Spicy and Regular. Good portion size. Crispy and delicious. The spicy was pretty mild.
Duffin’s Donuts doesn’t have their own fried chicken recipe. The fried chicken at Duffin’s is from Fritou, a Quebec based fried chicken chain. It is cooked and served by Duffin’s but branded as Fritou.
PRICE:
$$ AFFORDABLE. Pricing is similar to other cafe/bakery/fast-food businesses.
QUALITY:
GOOD! The fried chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy.
Torta sandwich is small but good ingredients like fresh avacado. Spring roll, good portion size but not as hot/fresh as the fried chicken.
SERVICE:
GOOD! Friendly. Good explanations of the menu and items.
VERDICT:
Overall, SATISFIED. Duffin’s Donuts is a unique business that has some delicious cheap eats and sweet treats. The fried chicken is a must-try, but also the donuts, sandwiches, and even hamburgers.
