Simon Fraser University Burnaby campus has a cheap budget friendly Buffet! SFU Dining Hall is open to students and the public. At the time of this video no dine-in, only take-out.
For around $12 (non-student) the buffet is ALL YOU CAN TAKE. Fit all you can in the take-out box provided. Included with the meal is a fountain drink. NO GOING BACK FOR REFILLS.
‘The Kitchen’ at the Dining Hall has different stations. Hot foods, Cold Salad Bar, Pasta Station, ‘My Pantry’ for coffee and dessert. A few items you will find on the buffet: pizza, chicken burgers, yam fries, butter chicken, make your own pasta, salad, sushi and more.
The buffet is spacious, and with Physical Distancing rules in place. The food is nicely presented and looks fresh. The menu changes for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner and any special days. Pretty fancy for a school buffet and better than most AYCE restaurants.

GOOD! Good portion sizes, and ingredients used. Good flavours.

OK! No self-serve. They serve you in the buffet. Fair serving portions for rice, quinoa. 4 Pieces of sushi.
VERDICT:
Overall, SATISFIED. Though not AYCE, SFU Dining Hall is a solid choice for cheap eats. Butter Chicken, Sushi, Pizza and Quinoa! Not bad for a student buffet!
