Sungiven Foods is a grocery store with five locations in the Lower Mainland. The newest location has opened on Hastings street in North Burnaby. This is the first time Gutom has been to a Sungiven Foods store!
Sungiven Foods promotes itself as “Healthy Daily Meals Provider” with a focus on non-GMO, natural and organic. Just so you won’t forget there are giant signs to remind you all around the store. Sungiven carries an assortment of Asian brands and they have their own Sungiven branded products.
The style of Sungiven is different from other Asian Markets. Wood floors, low shelves. Sungiven Foods looks a bit like Trader Joes! It is a much smaller T&T.

Grab and Go
The hot food section of Sungiven foods. At the time of this video there were Dim Sum dumplings, and noodles available for take-out. Steamed Rice is included with the purchase of a hot food item.
Sungiven foods looks like a nice brand of stores. Clean with lots of modern signage but some basic things are missing like aisle numbers.
