Gutom calls this part of Station Square ‘Restaurant Row’ because of the selection of restaurants in a row.
The New Station Square is still under construction but a large portion of it is complete. Earls, Cactus Club, and Boston Pizza are a few open. Though Station Square is not technically part of Metropolis Metrotown, it is right next door to the mall and connected by a walkway.
Station Square is expected to be complete in late 2021. It has been in construction in different phases since the original Station Square closed in 2012.
Right across from Station Square is The Crystal Mall which has another delicious food court.
Earls used to be located a block away from Metrotown, but now is part of Station Square. This restaurant has a nice patio perfect for the summer.
The Dolar Shop Hot Pot
Coming Soon The Dolar Shop is a international chain of Chinese Hot Pot restaurants. There is one location in Richmond. The Dolar Shop is branded as ‘Premium’ Hot Pot.
The old Cactus Club used to be across the street but now is part of Station Square. This location has a nice patio.
Gutom Tip:
BEWARE the parking lot here at Station Square is heavily patrolled by Parking Enforcement. They will ticket you if you stay longer than the posted time. Park at Metrotown to avoid a ticket.
Boston Pizza a good option for families. Neptune Chinese restaurant is accessible inside Station Square. There is also a Freshii, Starbucks and Tim Hortons.
