The Bao Place on Kingsway across from Metrotown Mall serves up delicious Chinese steamed buns. Baozi (aka Siopao in the Philippines) are white dough buns with various fillings like beef, pork, chicken, and egg. Fluffy, doughy and steaming hot, the bao is a delicious portable meal.
Steamed buns with Chinese and Filipino Tagalog names.
‘Bola-Bola’ is pork meat balls. The Deluxe is a special combo with egg.
‘Asado’ is a Sweet Pork like Cha Siu Bao you’d find at Dim Sum restaurants.

Overall, SATISFIED. The Bao Place is a perfect spot to get delicious steamed buns. The curry and pork belly are favorites however all of the ones we tried are very good.
