Vancouver Greek Summer Fest at the Greek Orthodox church on Boundary Road is over a week long celebration July 4 – 14, 2019. It is very conveniently located not too far from Skytrain with lots of street parking. This is the 33rd annual event, with good food and entertainment.

BBQ LAMB DINNER $19
Comes with Greek salad, rice, Tzatziki and bread. They forgot the bread! The rice was not ready at the time so they prepared fries instead.
The pieces of lamb are vary in toughness/tenderness.

Kalamari with Tzatziki $10
Hot pieces of fried squid. Good portion size. Some lemon and onion seasoning.

Greek Coffee Frappe $4
Delicious! The consistency of the drink was very smooth, foamy. Never had a frappe like this before and for $4 it is one of the best deals at Greek Summerfest.

Spinach Pie $6
Nice filling, and flaky.

PRICE:
$$ Affordable.
Fair price for Kalamari, and Greek Coffee Frappe.
Lamb Plate seems a little expensive.

QUALITY:
Good. Greek Coffee Frappe is delicious.
Kalamari delicious and good portion size.
Lamb Plate is good. The pieces of lamb vary in tenderness. The Greek salad portion seemed small.

SERVICE:
Rice was not ready with lamb plate order. Fries substitute was ok. No bread. They forgot to add bread to the lamb plate.

VERDICT:
Greek Summerfest on Boundary road is a nice event that goes on for almost 2 weeks. The food is good, and lots of entertainment. Good for the whole family. Free admission.

CASH, CARD. Parking in neighbourhood.
