The ART DECO style transports you to a different time!
You’ll soon notice that cooking in large woks is very popular in the market!
The market has a large variety of food vendors, and artisan shops.
Choosing what to eat can be a challenge. The food is very international.
What We Ordered:
Bomba Paella £7 ($12 Canadian)
Chicken, Seafood, and Chorizo.
A nice combination of seafood but a little difficult to eat with a fork!
The paella was hot, and fresh. Careful you might burn your mouth!
Duck Confit Sandwich £6 ($10 Canadian) at Le Marche du Quatier.
This was a ok sandwich. The bread was hard, and the duck was a little overcooked.
Perhaps a bad batch?
During the busy lunch hour be prepared to queue up for popular eateries.
There is something for everyone here at Borough Market.
Prices seem reasonable, even local office workers and students eat here.
Take a walk over the bridge to Liverpool Street Station
to catch a train to Standsted Airport if you have a connecting flight.
This is a great place to visit!

Fact: London Bridge Attack of 2017
On 3 June 2017, a terrorist attack involving vehicle-ramming and stabbing took place in London, England. A van was deliberately driven into pedestrians on London Bridge before crashing on the south bank of the River Thames. Its three occupants then ran to the nearby Borough Market area and began stabbing people in and around restaurants and pubs. The attackers were Islamistsinspired by Islamic State (ISIS).[8] They were shot dead by Metropolitan Police officers and were found to be wearing fake explosive vests.[9] Eight people were killed and 48 were injured, including four unarmed police officers who attempted to stop the assailants. via Wikipedia
