Surprised to find a Tim Hortons in Manila.
Tim Hortons the Canadian cafe bakery chain has expanded overseas! There are a several locations popping up around Metro Manila.
The menu and presentation is similar but with some differences.
What We Ordered
– Iced Capp and Iced Tea. Perfect cold drinks for hot weather.
– Timbits Assorted
Iced Capp – Triple Coffee Jelly aka Iced Capp Supreme (Not Available in Canada)
– Coffee jelly, chocolate chips, and whipped cream.
Very good! Generous amount of chocolate chips, coffee jelly, and whipped cream! Mix the coffee jelly well. Iced Capp requires a clear straw for the coffee jelly.
Problem: StrawGate
The straws are not wide enough for sipping the coffee jelly pieces. Wider straws such as those used for Bubble Tea would work better.
Timbits in the Philippines:
– Tastes exactly like those in Canada.
Overall, good experience at Philippines Tim Hortons.
Clean location in Makati, friendly service even better than some Canadian locations!
