Gutom Staff The saddest little Banh Mi Shop in Vancouver. Banh Mi Yen Linh is a new sandwich shop on Kingsway. The space is large, but with no customers makes this a sad shop.
Ordered:
– Lemongrass chicken banh mi $5.00
– Iced Coffee $4.50
Lemongrass bahn mi has good chicken filling, lots of veggies, and soft bread.
The iced coffee was served without a drip coffee filter, already mixed with condensed milk in a to-go cup.
Value: Too expensive for the quality of sandwich, and iced coffee. Better options in the area like Ba Le.
Quality: Lemongrass meat did not have a good temperature. Veggie fillings were ok.
Service: Server didn’t understand much English. She was confused when ordering iced coffee.
Strange quiet Banh Mi shop with clean modern interior but there’s nothing special about the food.
