Jinya Ramen Bar is a chain of Japanese ramen shops originating in Burbank, California. This location in Burnaby at Metrotown Mall is one of the newest locations in the Vancouver area, as of 2017.

Spicy Umami Miso Ramen pork broth: ground pork soboro, bean sprouts, green onion, bok choy, chili oil » served with thick noodlesground pork substitute with Chashu pork pieces Thick noodles were tasty and not overdone.
Jinya Chicken Ramen chicken broth: chicken chashu, spinach, green onion, fried onion » served with thin noodles.
Pork Gyoza (6 pcs.) handmade pork potstickers. Good stuff.
Takoyaki – Octopus Ball battered octopus over egg tartar topped with kewpie mayonnaise, okonomiyaki sauce, fresh cut green onion and smoked bonito flakes. Generous toppings, and mayo.
Extra Noodles. You Can order Thin or Thick extra noodles if you’re still hungry!
Value: Pretty good. Good portion of noodle and soup. However if you want more toppings it’s an extra charge.
Quality: Tasty, and filling. There are better ramen experiences out there however, Jinya is decent. Not mind-blowing, but good. Soup broth could have been hotter.
Service: Average. Awkward service. Constantly clearing plates at bad times during dining experience.
Tip: Go for the Thick noodles.
