GUTOM EATS! Now Open in Burnaby, Kimshaker Resto, a new modern Filipino restaurant. Located on Kingsway in the Metrotown area. Let’s Check it out!

This is the second Kimshaker location and first dine-in restaurant. The original location is a Turo Turo in Royal City Centre food court New Westminster.

“Modern Filipino” the menu is surprising with some nice variety of dishes and drinks. Combining cafe, street food, classic dishes and grill. Prices range from $14-$25.

The seating in the dining room is a mostly bar chairs (counter chairs). This might be an issue for people who want to sit and regular table height.

Longganisa Burger $13.99

Breakfast style burger with hashbrown, egg, and longganiza patty!

 

Crispy Kare Kare with Rice $18.99

Pork Belly and peanut sauce with veggies and bagoong shrimp paste.

 

Grilled Chicken with Rice $18.99

2 piece grilled chicken drumstick and thigh, with lime, chili.

VERDICT

 

PRICE:
$$ Affordable. Expect to pay $15-$30 per person. The burgers are budget friendly.

QUALITY:
GOOD! The burger was tasty, nicely presented and portion size was fair. The grilled chicken was cooked well, moist and nicely flavoured. The Kare Kare was tasty.

The food is served on a tray with paper. They should replace the paper because it gets stuck to the food and rips when sauce is added. Customer doesn’t want to eat paper!

SERVICE:
GOOD! Friendly, helpful. Good for friends and families.

SATISFIED! Kimshaker Resto has some tasty eats with modern style, and budget friendly items.
