FRESH FROM THE OVEN IS BEST!
Bannock can be enjoyed with butter and jam, or with salmon. It’s filling and has a mild flavor.
PRICE:
$$ PRICE. The Wild Salmon Plate is slightly more expensive than the fast food options at the airport but priced in line for what’s offered. The Signature Bannock is affordable.
QUALITY:
OK! Fresh cooked salmon and unique fresh indigenous bread served hot at the airport! Tasty and healthy. Bannock is fluffy and has a mild flavor.
The portion size of sweet potato wedges was too small.
SERVICE:
OK! Friendly.
Opening week, slightly disorganized during busy times. Ordering, and Pick Up line is a bit confusing. Slow to get food. Room for improvement!
VERDICT:
Overall, SATISFIED. Salmon n’ Bannock welcome to YVR! Good food, nice alternative to the usual airport offerings. Expect to pay a little more for this style of cuisine.
