Haddock is very popular as a food fish. It is sold fresh or preserved by smoking, freezing, drying, or to a small extent canning. Haddock, along with Atlantic cod and plaice, is one of the most popular fish used in British fish and chips.[18]

tartar sauce.

Two piece fish and chips. They look similar to chicken fingers
flat and breaded. No real Fish and Chip batter here.
Good tartar sauce dip really gives it the Fish and Chips flavor.
The fish itself doesn’t have a strong flavor. Only 2 pieces for $7.
Smaller than expected. The fries portion seemed small.
PRICE:
$7 bucks for two small fish pieces and small fries.
QUALITY:
It’s ok. The fish is not battered like real Fish and Chips, it’s more like chicken nuggets. The flavor isn’t like a Filet-O-Fish. Tastes less fishy than Filet-O-Fish. The fries are McDonald’s fries, nothing unique or special cut fries or wedge fries.
SERVICE:
It’s McDonald’s. Can’t order individual fish pieces.
VERDICT:
McDonald’s new Fish and Chips is an interesting idea, but it could be so much better. Basically fish sticks and regular fries. If you’re craving fish sticks this is an ok second to Filet-O-Fish. At least now you have two fish choices at McDs.
