JJ BEAN at Station Square is now open! JJ Bean Coffee Roasters is a popular local chain of coffee shops. Recorded February 1, 2022, this is their first day open. JJ Bean at Station Square is located next to Metropolis at Metrotown and Crystal Mall.
The new JJ Bean has a nice bright corner space across from Cactus Club, and Best Buy and it’s very close to the Skytrain Station. If you’re looking for a alternative to Starbucks, or Tim Hortons, JJ Bean is the place to go.
Matcha Latte $4.75
Yes, JJ Bean is known for their coffee, but they also have UNSWEETEND Matcha.
There are also free samples of their baked goods.
PRICE:
$ FAIR PRICE. Not the cheapest cafe chain in town.
QUALITY:
OK! The drink was ok served warm and not hot. Needs to be hotter. Latte art a bit messy.
SERVICE:
OK! Friendly. Too bad the server didn’t remake the drink with better latte art, and hotter temperature. The drinks menu on the counter is too small to read!
VERDICT:
Overall, SATISFIED. Nice cafe environment. No outdoor patio seating. They have power outlets for laptops, lots of seats and clean washrooms. Seems to be a more conservative design with no fireplace at this location.
