Gutom Staff TANDOORI FLAME REVISITED – Improved!
We revisit Tandoori Flame to taste and see what’s changed
since our first trip to the All You Can Eat Indian buffet back in June.
Tandoori Flame in Surrey is ready for the Holidays with Christmas
decorations greeting customers at the entrance. (Still November!)
This visit was at Lunch on Remembrance Day Monday.
They charge the Weekend price $22.99 on Holiday long weekends.
We arrived right at Opening 11:30 AM, there was a short line wait.
After a short wait, we were quickly seated.
Very spacious dining area and large windows with nice natural light!
At opening time, some of the food was missing from the buffet but it was added
soon after opening. Better to have food FRESH, rather than
it sitting on the buffet for many hours.
There is a halal section on the buffet. Nice addition!
Halal goat curry, halal butter chicken, and halal tandoori chicken!
The authentic naan oven is fun to watch. Fresh naan bread!
Chutneys. What a variety of flavors!
Salad bar, Soup, salads, fruits, and veggies.
Make Your Own Chutney! A cool feature of the buffet!
Finish the meal with chai tea! No free refill.
PRICE:
$$ Not the cheapest but still affordable.
QUALITY:
Excellent selection. Delicious flavors, and good food temperatures.
SERVICE:
Friendly. Water refills, and clearing plates.
VERDICT:
All You Can Eat. Large selection. Very good quality.
Clean restaurant, and friendly service.
Recommend going during lunch. After lunch
buffet may not be fresh.
