Gutom Staff CLOSED
Liberte Cafe and Restaurant in Vancouver’s Joyce-Collingwood is officially CLOSED. The local Filipino inspired cafe served up Ube treats, and Filipino cuisine.
The owners said rent has gone up, so they are closing. Originally Liberte was to close at the end of the month but ended up closing 1 week early on February 24, 2025.
They do plan to open somewhere in the future and are looking for a new spot. Unfortunately it’s one less Filipino business in the area dubbed “Filipinotown.”
