New on Kingsway! Galbi Korean BBQ! Galbi is a local Korean restaurant with a location in Coquitlam, and they’re expanding!
Their new location is in Burnaby on Kingsway in the Metrotown area. They are known for in-table grilling and quality Korean BBQ.
The new Galbi is located on the corner of Wilson Ave and Kingsway, between Bigway Hot Pot, and Saffron Indian. The nearest Skytrain Station is Patterson with a bus stop on the same block.
Metrotown is really the place to be for delicious cuisines all one in area!

VERDICT
PRICE:
$$ Mostly Affordable. Prices range $40+ beef, $20+ Pork (BBQ minimum 2 orders), Korean entrees $20. Bowl of rice $2.
QUALITY:
OK! Nice cuts of meat. Fair portion size.
Marinated flavour wasn’t too strong.
SERVICE:
GOOD! Friendly, helpful. Salad, soup, side dishes, and dipping sauce included.
No chicken BBQ or seafood BBQ option.
VERDICT:
SATISFED! Galbi BBQ offers premium beef and pork cuts and Korean comfort foods. The premium meat, means premium price. Craving authentic Korean BBQ Galbi is the place with table grill.
Menu needs some combo options, or late night/ lunch specials. Not many people are willing to spend $40 x 2 BBQ for a lunch which makes this restaurant less attractive when there are other options in the area.
