Seems like the cost of everything has gone up in 2023, that’s because it has. There was a time when Steamed Buns also know as Bao were less than $2 in Vancouver.
Bao Bakery is the sister store of Newtown Bakery in Chinatown. It’s only a matter of time when steamed buns will be more than $5!
Prices go up, but the food stays the same, and gets even smaller. Add to that tax and tip!
