ALL YOU CAN EAT
PERMANENTLY CLOSED
TOMOKAZU SUSHI WEST BROADWAY
Would a new owner please stand up?
Google reports that Tomokazu is PERMANENTLY CLOSED.
Tomokazu for many years was the go-to All You Can Eat sushi restaurant in Vancouver. Located on West Broadway, Tomokazu offered affordable Lunch and Dinner sushi dishes and more.
The restaurant was sold to a new owner during the pandemic. The new owner completely changed the menu, replaced the original staff, eventually got rid of the lunch time AYCE.
Tomokazu closed for renovations, eventually reopened with robot servers, and then closed again!
The Google reviews for Tomokazu are mostly angry and negative since the new ownership. It’s been a rocky start and end for the new Tomokazu.
Now in 2023, the future of Tomokazu is permanently closed. Will it ever come back again?
Take a look back at Tomokazu.

History of AYCE in Vancouver
Tomokazu along with Kyo, Shabusen, Kingsway Sushi, plus Richmond Ninkazu in Richmond, and Kawawa at Metrotown was peak All You Can Eat. Back in the day AYCE sushi in Vancouver was abundant! All good things must come to an end, right?
Then the pandemic hit. The covid restrictions forced many businesses to close. Lack of customers, rising cost of food.
A few All You Can Eat Sushi restaurants didn’t survive.
Kyo Sushi on South Granville. Closed. Kyo Sushi featured in table grills. It was a better version of Shabusen.
Kingsway Sushi Closed. It was a popular All You Can Eat restaurant in East Vancouver at border of Burnaby and Vancouver on Boundary Road.
