GUTOM EATS! Jollibee at King George Hub in Surrey is NOW OPEN! Located about 40 minutes from Downtown Vancouver via Skytrain, JB KGH is Jollibee #3 — the THIRD restaurant to open in BC! Jollibee is expanding fast! Let’s check out the GRAND OPENING February 18. 2023.
King George is the last stop on the Skytrain Expo Line. The Whalley / Central City area is considered Downtown Surrey! There are lots of restaurants and new buildings popping up, like King George Hub, a shopping centre home of the new Jollibee.
Jollibee opens at 9AM! Devoted Jollibee fans queued up hours before opening, some overnight! Grand Opening Weekend Jollibee promotion spend $35 and get a Funko Pop on February 18, or on February 19 get a Plush toy.
Jollibee Granville Street opened in Downtown Vancouver one year ago, February 2022. Compared to the Grand Opening of Jollibee Granville Street, this line up at King George was much smaller, and less chaotic! It was also pretty chill with no DJ, or Jolly Mascot!
PRICE:
$$ FAIR PRICE. Similar pricing to other fried chicken joints.
QUALITY:
GOOD! Large chicken pieces, fresh fried, crispy, hot and juicy! Palabok and Spaghetti are consistent, good amount of toppings.
SERVICE:
GOOD! Friendly and helpful! The staff are welcoming and nice. Service moved fast.
VERDICT:
Overall, VERY SATISFIED. Of the three Jollibee locations in the Vancouver area, Jollibee KGH is one of the best! Good, friendly, fast service, FRESH hot and juicy chicken and delicious noodles. Debit machines work on Grand Opening.
