Construction has begun at Kawawa in Burnaby at Metropolis at Metrotown.
Kawawa has been at the mall for many years. Originally an All You Can Eat sushi restaurant, they axed AYCE option, and a ramen restaurant was added next door.
Looks like now Kawawa is still in business, but adding a hot dog restaurant called Ajitaro Hot Dog. It’s unknown if Kawawa will still be serving sushi when they reopen. Looks like they are trying to compete with Japadog!
There’s plenty of reviews that about the quality of Kawawa. There’s also been sightings of mice! Hopefully the renovation will be improved quality and no pests!
