Local artists K-OS and Bif Naked to perform at Burnaby’s newest Canada Day event STREETFEST ON CENTRAL 2022!
The event takes place in a section of Burnaby from Central Park area off of Kingsway and Patterson Skytrain Station, and at Willingdon Bob Prittie Metrotown Library/Civic Square.
This area is close to Vancouver and connects Central Park to Metrotown /Downtown Burnaby with Central Blvd right by the Skytrain tracks, popular and very accessible by bus Skytrain stations.
This area has never been used for an event like this before so it’s should be interesting to see! StreetFest on Central is part of Burnaby’s plan to transform Metrotown into the modern era.

From 7-10 pm, enjoy games, DJ dance party, martial arts demonstrations, lion dance, colourful lanterns, crafts, dance, art exhibits, roving entertainers, pop up music, beer garden, food trucks and other interactive displays from community partners to entertain and engage all ages.

With the backdrop of its 1920s village streets, the free festivities include multicultural family entertainment, displays & demonstrations, children’s games & activities and, of course cupcakes!
This Canada Day the C.W. Parker Carousel will be taking a restful holiday and will not be in operation. Enjoy the other exhibits, activities and entertainment throughout the museum.
