The meal comes with water, banchan, and what’s this… is it tea?! It’s soup broth!
Yellow radish and, kimchi radish are side dishes. The banchan is simple, but for two people it seems very little! Skimping on the banchans?

Kal Gook Soo (Kal-guksu) is knife-cut wheat flour noodles sometimes served with Chicken like a Korean Chicken Noodle soup. Unfortunately, no option with chicken at this restaurant but the soup does have egg.
Beef Kim Bab $7.75
Korean seaweed rice rolls. Beef, carrot, spinach, fish cake, egg, yellow radish.
Crab Kim Bab $7.75
Korean seaweed rice rolls. Crabmeat, carrot, spinach, fish cake, egg, yellow radish.
The Kim Bab falls apart easily! The seaweed is crispy and delicious and the portion size is good.
PRICE:
$ FAIR PRICE. Good prices for simple food.
QUALITY:
GOOD! Good portion size. No option for chicken or beef Gul Gak Su. The kimbab is the reason to come here. Very tasty with crispy seaweed, generous portion size.
SERVICE:
OK! Friendly. A bit of a wait to get a seat during busy times.
VERDICT:
Overall, SATISFIED. Simple homestyle Korean dishes, in a cozy setting. Fair prices and good portion size except for the banchan which is too little.
