NUKID COFFEE AND BAKE SHOP

KOREAN DONUT AND CAKE CAFE

ROBSON STREET

There’s a new bakery on Robson Street.

NOW OPEN! NUKID COFFEE AND BAKE SHOP on Robson Street. Nukid is the new kid on the block, a Korean cafe serving unique donuts, cakes, coffee, and Korean style drinks. Another popular hit for Robson Street to compliment the Korean cuisine in the area.

This place has fun branding with retro looking characters. The shop is bright and features seating for dine in! Limited Seating.

We’re told that the menu changes everyday!

Donuts, cakes, and even protein shakes and smoothies.

The selection is pretty good with long twisted donut shapes. There are donuts with a variety of toppings and fillings. There is not much variety in the donut dough like at Tim Hortons, or Krispy Kreme. The cakes are interesting but no by-the-slice option.

Place your order at the counter and they will give you a buzzer.

Some items (like the Jollypong Latte) on their drinks menu were not available at the time of this posting.

ORDERED

Matcha Donut $4.50

Choco Crunch Twisted Donut $6

Chocolate Milk $6
Presented in a honey bear bottle?

Fresh Milk Donut $4.25

The plate the donuts are served on for dine-in is heavy! Try not to trip on the way down the stairs.

PRICE:
$-$$ FAIR PRICE. PRICEY! These donuts are not cheap.

QUALITY:
OK! Fluffy, soft, and chewy. Too bad there’s not much variety with the doughnut dough like Duffin’s Donuts, Tim Hortons or Krispy Kreme.

SERVICE:
GOOD! Friendly. The server at the cashier was nice and friendly. No trash bins or tissue dispensers. Super clean modern washroom.

VERDICT:
Overall, SLIGHTLY SATISFIED. Nukid brings unique donuts to Robson Street, in a bright cozy cafe environment. Donuts should be affordable to all unfortunately Nukid is on the pricier side.
