Fried Chicken and Pudding? Why not!
Pudding so good they should change their name to Mary Brown’s Chicken and Pudding!
PRICE:
$-$$ FAIR PRICE. Similar to other Fried Chicken places.
QUALITY:
OK! Tasty, and tender chicken. The regular chicken and taters don’t have a strongĀ flavour, so Spicy Chicken is the way to go. The Spicy Chicken is just spice seasoning on regular chicken. The chicken tastes less greasy and less fatty then Churchs Chicken. However, the drumsticks were small, and quality seemed inconsistent with the rest of the chicken. The Taters were not very hot, and they were small potato wedges. The apple pies were hot and fresh, and the pudding, and sides were good.
SERVICE:
OK! Friendly, but very pushy to order quickly. NO SODA FOUNTAIN. No tissue dispensers.
VERDICT:
Overall, SATISFIED. Mary Browns is a different fried chicken experience with SWEET desserts. Definitely worth checking out and a OK alternative to Churchs or Popeyes.
