Lunar New Year 2022! Jade Dynasty Restaurant in the heart of Vancouver’s Chinatown. Jade Dynasty is one of the oldish restaurants on EAST Pender open since 2005. It was renovated in 2019 to give it a more retro look. Let’s see what’s new in 2022!
Jade Dynasty is open at 9AM-9PM. Closed on Tuesdays.

PRICE:
$-$$ FAIR PRICE. AFFORDABLE. Similar to other Dim Sum restaurants. There’s a extra charge for tea, sauce, and take-out boxes.
QUALITY:
OK! Not bad. OK portion sizes, food served steaming hot. The Eggplant tasted a bit burned/overcooked.
SERVICE:
OK! Could be better. The server is a bit impatient and wants you to order fast. She even said ‘I will help you!’ Was not asked what type of tea I’d like to order. Asked server for hot sauce and got soy sauce instead.
VERDICT:
Overall, SATISFIED. Jade Dynasty is the Dim Sum choice if you don’t want to walk far in downtown Chinatown. Good menu with lots of items.
