Mooby’s! Located at Smithe and Granville at Dublin Calling Pub. Mooby’s Pop Up restaurant is based on the fictional fast food joint in Kevin Smith’s movies Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and Clerks 2. Mooby’s is open for a LIMITED TIME! LAST DAY IS APRIL 3!
There are two ways to order at Mooby’s. Order Online for a reservation time, or walk-ins. Ordering online has extra fees! $1.40 Processing FEE, BOO! and you have to create an account on the website. SKIP the website and just WALK-IN!
Burgers, fries, onion rings, soda, and BEER. For the price of $22 you get a pick of a burger, and a side. YIKES! No SOLO burgers. $22 or nothing. As if Vancouver wasn’t expensive enough! You might as well go to DUBLIN CALLING ($9.95) or ROXY BURGER ($13) next door!
Neat idea for a restaurant with Kevin Smith’s humor. Lots of Mooby’s stuff and Merch. It looks like a Fast Food restaurant but it shares the same kitchen (and cooks?) as Dublin Calling Pub. The person behind the counter isn’t wearing a Mooby’s Uniform.

The burger was missing cheese, and pickles.

“buttermilk fried chicken + hot sauce + slaw + mayo”
The slaw was like giant cabbage slices. No sliced pickles? KFC and Popeyes have sliced pickle on their chicken sandwiches.
PRICE:
$$ HIGH PRICE. OVERPRICED but similar to Cactus Club or Earls. $22+ for burger and onion rings! Expect to spend $25+. RICH MAN’S FAST FOOD. Ordering online is a RIP OFF too!
QUALITY:
OK! Small portion sizes. Poutine was tasty but small portion. Chicken burger was good, but missing pickles like KFC, Popeyes. Onion rings were cold but not bad.
Beef Burger was UNDERCOOKED! RAW! Thin patties like McDonald’s, but McDonald’s tastes better.
SERVICE:
OK! Friendly person at counter. Slow to get food. Slow service for a FAKE FAST FOOD place.
VERDICT:
Overall, ROTTEN like Kevin Smith’s new movies. Mooby’s Vancouver is rebranded pub food with the price jacked way up! Ordering online is a rip off with processing fees. If you go to Mooby’s do WALK-IN, and go for the chicken burger and mootine. The beer is rebranded Main St. Brewing.
